Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Between Bengaluru and Mumbai Approved

New Delhi: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved the introduction of a new Vande Bharat Sleeper train service between Bengaluru and Mumbai, aimed at enhancing passenger convenience on the busy route.
In an official communication addressed to P. C. Mohan, the minister confirmed that the sleeper variant of the Vande Bharat train will operate between KSR Bengaluru and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai.
The approval follows discussions on improving long-distance rail connectivity between the two major cities. The proposed service is expected to offer a faster and more comfortable overnight travel option for passengers.
The Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are designed to provide modern amenities along with enhanced safety and efficiency, marking a significant upgrade over conventional long-distance trains.
