Frequency of Kakinada Town – Lingampalli Express Train Increased; Samalkot Gets New Stop

New Delhi: The Railway Board has approved an increase in the frequency of Train Nos. 12775/12776 Kakinada Town–Lingampalli–Kakinada Town Express from tri-weekly to daily service.
As per the revised schedule, Train No. 12775 (Kakinada Town–Lingampalli Express), which currently operates on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, will run daily with effect from April 22, 2026. Similarly, Train No. 12776 (Lingampalli–Kakinada Town Express), presently operating on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, will be converted into a daily service from April 21, 2026.
In addition, the Railways has approved an extra stoppage for the train at Samalkot Railway Station.
As per the revised timings, Train No. 12775 (Kakinada Town–Lingampalli) will arrive at Samalkot at 20:35 hrs and depart at 20:37 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 12776 (Lingampalli–Kakinada Town) will arrive at Samalkot at 04:55 hrs and depart at 04:57 hrs.
The move is expected to improve connectivity and provide greater convenience for passengers travelling between Kakinada Town and Lingampalli.
