20-Day Block at Kota Junction: Several Trains Diverted, Terminated at Sogaria

Kota: In view of ongoing redevelopment work at Platform No. 1, authorities have announced a temporary change in train operations at Kota Junction from April 15 to May 4, 2026. The 20-day block will impact multiple train services, with several trains being diverted, terminated, or originating from alternative stations.

Passengers have been advised to check their platform details before commencing their journey to avoid inconvenience.

As per the revised arrangements, a few trains will bypass Kota Junction and operate via Sogaria station. These include the Bhopal–Jodhpur Express (14814), scheduled to arrive at 2:10 am and depart at 2:20 am, and the Jodhpur–Bhopal Express (14813), arriving at 11:30 pm and departing at 11:40 pm. Similarly, the Dayodaya Superfast Express (12181) from Jabalpur to Ajmer will arrive at Sogaria at 6:35 am and depart at 6:45 am, while its return service (12182) from Ajmer to Jabalpur will arrive at 9:50 pm and depart at 10:00 pm.

Additionally, some trains will terminate at Sogaria instead of Kota Junction during the block period. These include the Bina–Kota MEMU (11604 and 61634), the Etawah–Kota Express (19812), and the Indore–Kota Superfast Express (22984).

Meanwhile, the Kota–Sawai Madhopur MEMU (61621) will originate from Sogaria station and depart at 7:25 pm.

Railway authorities have urged passengers to stay updated through official sources such as the NTES App, the official website of Indian Railways (enquiry.indianrail.gov.in), or by contacting railway enquiry counters for real-time information. DeshBharat
