Newly Installed Rooftop Solar Plant to Run Dondpur Toll Plaza: NHAI

Jammu: In a step toward promoting clean energy on national highways, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Project Implementation Unit in Jammu has commissioned a 90 kWp rooftop solar power plant at the Dondpur Fee Plaza.
The solar installation is expected to generate approximately 12,000 units (kWh) of clean electricity per month, which will be sufficient to fully meet the toll plaza’s monthly energy requirements.
As per an official statement said the initiative reinforces NHAI’s commitment to developing sustainable infrastructure and reducing the carbon footprint through the adoption of renewable energy solutions across National Highways. DeshBharat
