Jaipur: Residents of the Mansarover area are set to witness a major transformation of their local green space, as Nagar Nigam Jaipur has officially invited bids for the comprehensive beautification of Dwarkadas Park.

The ambitious project, issued by the Office of the Executive Engineer (Mansarover Zone), carries an estimated cost of ₹204 lakh (₹2.04 crore). Under the tender terms, the selected contractor will have six months to complete the work from the date of commencement.

A Modern Oasis: Fountains and Flora

A key highlight of the beautification plan is the installation of a high-tech 11-metre-diameter dome fountain. According to the technical specifications, the fountain will feature 151 precision-adjustable nozzles made of engineering plastic to create a perfect dome effect. The water feature will be complemented by an underwater lighting system capable of displaying dynamic colours, including red, green, and blue.

The horticultural plan is equally extensive. The park will be revitalised with:

• New greenery: Planting of doob grass and permanent hedges.

• Diverse trees: Introduction of several species, including neem, gulmohar, champa, and amaltas (Erythrina variegata).

• Visitor comfort: Installation of five precast RCC benches and children’s play equipment such as slides and swings.

• Safety measures: A dedicated play area with premium EPDM flooring, designed for superior cushioning and weather resistance to ensure child safety.

Infrastructure Upgrades

Beyond aesthetics, the project includes significant civil and electrical upgrades. These involve dismantling old structures, earth filling, and installing stone slab flooring. To improve security and visibility, the park will receive new octagonal streetlight poles with LED fixtures, along with high-quality GI chain-link fencing.

Bidding Details for Contractors

The e-tendering process is open to enlisted contractors of the appropriate class in Rajasthan (Classes AA, A, B, C, and D).

Key dates:

• Bid submission: February 6, 2026, to 6:00 PM on February 26, 2026.

• Technical bid opening: February 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
